Here's a demonstration of the process I use to draw a daily comic strip.



This stage is in a sketchbook and is just to get the dialog and most basic placement set up.



Here I have drawn the final sketch, enough to remember what should happen in the next stage.
I thought about the idea of not pissing on someone who was on fire
and this sequence came to me, so I wrote down the punchline to remember it.
I drew the strip a few hours later, so I was glad I made the note.



Here I am beginning to draw the final art, starting with the lettering.
